How it works: choose the payment method for this import, select the CSV, review the detected columns and preview, then import. The selected payment method is applied to every record in that file. Unneeded CSV columns are ignored. Imported records default to Home. Amex categories are converted to WIMMG categories, but known merchants take priority. Broad Amex “Business Services” transactions go to Needs Review unless a more specific rule applies. The original Amex category is saved in the record. Negative Amex amounts are imported as Refunds.
